Yiwen Liang’s practice centers on the themes of “rules, change, connection, and transformation.” Her interest in design began with material transformation, which later led her to study Visual Communication Design at Queensland University of Technology. She gradually realized that jewelry, as a medium directly interacting with the body, carries the unique ability to embody emotions and memories. Her works explore both the fragility of social rules and the potential of human agency. By challenging boundaries and engaging in self-reflection, she seeks to use jewelry as a vessel to convey emotions and cultural values, while deepening her inquiry into the evolving relationship between materials and humanity.
