An Italian artist born in Matera and currently based in Milan, he holds a degree in Modern Literature with a specialization in anthropology. He also collaborates on stage production and general realization for dance-theater performances with the Italo-French contemporary dance company "Cie Ezio Schiavulli." He brings this rich cultural background into his paintings. In his own words: "As a teenager, I discovered painting and the surreal possibilities it offered. I imagined traveling through the veins of leaves and across tree bark; my mind conjured up fantastic animals and anthropomorphic creatures set in unreal landscapes and situations—and all of that is what I recreate on the canvas."
