This artwork is a design piece that blends the beauty of traditional Korean jogakbo (patchwork) with the contemporary sensibility of denim. The free-form patterns of jogakbo meet the rugged texture of denim, offering a new design language where past and present, tradition and modernity, East and West harmoniously coexist. Using discarded denim scraps and swatch fabrics, this patchwork upcycling project embodies both sustainability and cultural significance. Once stitched with the hopes and devotion of women in the past, jogakbo is now reborn atop denim - a symbol of today's youth culture - as a new cultural expression
