NADA ALOWAID

Editions AVRIL 2026
I am a Saudi contemporary artist whose work centers on the exploration of color, texture, and their emotional impact. Although I began my academic path in biology and computer science, I ultimately found my true direction in the visual arts. Working primarily with acrylics and a palette knife, I create layered, textured abstractions that explore presence, connection, and the inner experiences that shape us. My practice is defined by bold color relationships, abstracted forms, and intuitive knife work. Through my work, I like to invite quiet reflection, encouraging viewers to engage closely with each piece and develop their own dialogue with its layers and surfaces. My artworks have been exhibited internationally, including shows in Rome, Barcelona, Lecce, London, and Dubai.
