| PINAR TUBA BICMEN is a Turkish contemporary artist whose figurative and symbolic works explore the inner journey of the human being, with a particular focus on feminine identity, transformation and awakening.Working primarily in oil on canvas, she creates a visual language in which mirrors, masks, roots, water, animals and recurring archetypal symbols become reflections of memory, vulnerability and inner strength. Her ongoing series We Women: Mirror Awakening invites the viewer to move beyond the visible image and encounter the self behind it.For Bicmen, painting is a silent language: a space where what cannot be spoken becomes visible. Her works have been presented internationally in New York, Dubai, Rome, Varna and Nicaragua, as well as across Türkiye. In 2025, she represented Türkiye as an Art Ambassador at Art Connect Women in Dubai. |
