Prélude à une nuit sereine 2026 90 x 60 cm cm Huile sur toile 3200 € « Prelude to a serene night » (Preludio de una noche serena) arises from the contemplation of a coastal landscape during that suspended moment between daylight and the onset of night. The work explores the relationship between nature, light, and perception, seeking to transcend mere landscape representation to express the intimate experience of contemplating the scene. The sea, the sand, and the horizon become essential elements of a composition in which light plays an emotional role. The glow lingering on the horizon, the depth of the water, and the stillness of the landscape create an atmosphere of calm, allowing the image to transform into a sensation. The work's starting point was an image captured by Guillermo Poladura, whose gaze succeeded in seizing the unique beauty of that moment. From that image, the landscape began to transform, evolving into an experience. What remains is not merely the image of a landscape, but the emotion associated with it"the serenity of a moment, the light that enveloped it, and that which, however fleeting, can endure within us. Thus, the sea, the horizon, and the light take on a dimension that transcends the visible. The work speaks to those moments when nature invites us to pause and transform our way of seeing. More than simply representing a landscape, the piece invites us to inhabit it through our gaze, turning the ephemeral into an enduring memory. | La sieste 2022 60 x 70 cm cm Huile sur toile 2900 € A quiet study of rest, softness, and connection with nature. The figure lies peacefully among the surrounding foliage, where the flowing movement of the brushwork dissolves the boundaries between the body, the fabric, and the landscape. Gentle pastel tones contrast with deeper greens and blues, creating an intimate atmosphere that feels both serene and dreamlike. | Ce que la lumière révèle 2020 40 x 50 cm cm Huile sur toile 1200 € A timeless still life that celebrates the simple beauty of nature through light, color, and shadow. The delicate composition of the pears creates a sense of warmth and tranquility, while the contrast between the soft fruit and dramatic shadows adds depth and character. | Murmure du printemps 2023 120 x 90 cm cm Huile sur toile 3500 € In this work, the female figure emerges in dialogue with a garden vibrant with light and color. Through free, expressive brushwork, nature and the body intertwine within an atmosphere of serenity and contemplation. The composition invites the viewer to pause and appreciate the beauty of a fleeting moment, where sensitivity, harmony, and a connection to the surroundings take center stage. More than a mere depiction, the work seeks to evoke an emotional experience, a space of calm, introspection, and presence. |
