| Holger A. Baehr is an award-winning landscape painter based in County Longford, Ireland. Having lived in Ireland for almost four decades, the changing skies, shifting light and quiet beauty of the Irish landscape have become the heart of his artistic practice.
Working exclusively in acrylic on canvas, he creates atmospheric landscapes inspired by direct observation and transformed through memory, emotion and experience. Rather than recording a specific place, his paintings seek to capture the feeling of standing within the landscape itself.
His work has received numerous international awards, has been featured in the Sunday Independent, exhibited in museums and galleries in Ireland and abroad, and forms part of the Office of Public Works (OPW) State Art Collection.
