Anthony Cerrato

(Peintre)
Editions OCTOBRE 2026
Anthony Cerrato is an American abstract painter whose work explores movement, structure, color, and the tension between spontaneity and control. His paintings combine gestural mark-making with architectural and linear elements, creating compositions that move between abstraction, fragmented space, and implied form. His recent work focuses on layered color, sweeping movement, and structural interruptions that create rhythm and visual tension. Rather than beginning with a fixed image, Cerrato works through an evolving process of addition, removal, and response, allowing each composition to develop through the interaction of instinct and structure. His work has been exhibited internationally in France and Spain and has received multiple curatorial selections through Singulart.
