MASAYUKI SANDA / TINKER

TINKER is an artist based in Osaka, Japan.

After studying engineering, he worked at a flower shop to learn about the structure, culture, and beauty of plants with the goal of expressing them through metal. He later developed his skills in welding and metalworking, deepening his understanding of metal as a material.

In 2024, he founded the art brand TINKER. Working with iron, brass, copper, aluminum, and other metals, he creates botanical sculptures, including his signature Metal Rose series.

He also explores unique color expressions by combining anodizing techniques with natural dyes, bringing colors inspired by plants into metal.

By blending industrial craftsmanship with the beauty of nature, his work challenges conventional perceptions of metal and invites viewers to experience something they have never seen before.
