| ART STATEMENT
My work explores the fascinating link between visual art and emotional expression. This series is a study of the Olympian gods, where I aim to distill their complex personalities onto the page. Each portrait is executed using a one or two fountain pen ink, pushing the medium to its absolute limit. My goal is to maximise the potential of each hue, allowing the ink's unique characteristics its colour, shade, and flow to become a fundamental part of the deity's narrative and expression.
