| My project is an exploration of the human essence as a metaphor for modernity. We are far more complex than we appear, and perhaps we are the greatest mystery of the Universe. Beneath the surface of our living shell lie labyrinths of feelings, continents of emotions, landscapes of thoughts and memories, a succession of triumphs and defeats that can never be grasped at a glance. Time presses upon us with torrents of impulses and an overwhelming flood of information. In the whirlwind of life, a person can easily lose their sense of wholeness, dissolving into scattered fragments. Yet the body guards a hidden knowledge a light, a resistance to violence, a striving to make the world better the very forces that return us to our integrity. The colors in my works become a reflection of this inner strength and fragile harmony, where destruction and creation stand side by side in a single image. |
