| Mateus Cavalcanti Rosa is a young artist from Campina Grande, Paraíba, born in 2015, who found in art his most genuine form of expression. At the age of two, while still a non-verbal child, Mateus began communicating with the world through colors and brushstrokes, revealing an inner universe marked by sensitivity and intensity. Since then, art has been a bridge between Mateus and the world. Known artistically as Ele Artista, a name he carries on his social media (@eleartista), he has already sold more than 200 works, now present in various regions of Brazil and in countries such as the United States, South Korea, Portugal and Ireland. In 2021, he received a commission from Paramount Brazil to create a work about the character SpongeBob, which is now part of the companys headquarters in São Paulo. In recognition of his work, he was awarded the Artistic Merit of the Luxembourg Art Prize in 2021. Mateus has held solo exhibitions at Hotel Triunfo (Areia/PB, 2018), the OAB of Campina Grande (2022), SESI Museu Digital (Campina Grande, 2023), and the exhibition Beyond the Spectrum in the Art and Science Museum of Campina Grande - MAC (2025). |
