I am an artist from Moscow working in the genre of female figurative painting, creating images of women as embodiments of my inner states. My creative process is an escape. I leave behind the gray, often sad and pragmatic reality for a world that is brighter, more beautiful, and more saturated. However, behind the bright colors and decorations—these shells—my heroines have sad inside. Their poses, gestures, and facial expressions reflect my internal emotional state. I fill my canvases with vivid colors, decorative costumes, and jewelry—like frames from an alternative fashion story where the heroine became on magazine cover.
