| ----------- ENGLISH -------------- Professional artist for 25 years with galleries in UK, germany, spain, India, USA, DATY creates wall sculptures made of light raw steel plates cut, weathered, sanded and welded. A varnish preserves the natural colors of the metal. The sculpture is hung on the wall with simple hooks. ## DATY studies the relationship between humans and their environment in his series of wall sculptures. Whether this relationship is set in cities or in nature, the ecosystems are constructed with energy and substances. He removes from the object all its details and keeps only its structure, the skeleton (concre- tized by raw steel) and the energy fluxes (illustrated by shadows, light and perspective). The spectator becomes a silent witness to these art pieces, as he plays with the proposed environments by adding his own emotions. ----------- FRANCAIS ------------ Artiste professionnel depuis 25 ans avec des galeries aux Royaume-uni, aux USA, en Allemagne, en Inde, DATY crée des sculptures murales faites de légères plaques d'acier brut découpées, patinées, poncées et soudées. Un vernis préserve les couleurs naturelles du métal. La sculpture est accrochée au mur à l'aide de simples crochets. DATY étudie la relation entre l'homme et son environnement dans sa série de sculptures murales. Que cette relation soit établie dans les villes ou dans la nature, les écosystèmes sont construits avec de l'énergie et des substances. Il enlève à l'objet tous ses détails et ne conserve que sa structure, le squelette (matérialisé par l'acier brut) et les flux d'énergie (illustrés par les ombres, la lumière et la perspective). Le spectateur devient un témoin silencieux de ces œuvres d'art, car il joue avec les environnements proposés en y ajoutant ses propres émotions. |
